Storytelling has been a focus of our team for many years, and one of the main outputs from that has been the long-term relationships with people. Real people that use Microsoft technology to do incredible things. They have the ambition to turn ideas into reality, accomplish more, and change lives. They are the doers—the people who start things, move the world forward, and inspire others.
Some stories we've captured in video, others in words, some both. Many are episodic, as people don't tend to live in tidy little narratives, but ever changing journeys, with ups and downs, twists and turns.
We've made two volumes of a printed book and distributed them across the company to inspire employees with the stories of the people being empowered towards greatness. Some of the people have been in our television spots, others went on to major conference stages, and some continued to affect local change right where they were.
We celebrate the incredible people whose lives we touch across the planet and their achievements, big and small.
